The Linked Helper alternative that also runs locally.
Almost every LinkedIn tool runs in a vendor’s cloud. Linked Helper and wireagent are the two that do not. That makes Linked Helper the closest thing wireagent has to a real rival, the fairest one to be measured against, and the one comparison where the architecture is a tie and the argument has to be won on something else.
Written by wireagent, so read it with that in mind. Linked Helper’s prices and features below are taken from its own pricing page, read on 19 August 2026, and both of its prices are given: the $8.25 everyone quotes, and the $24.75 you pay once the 20-a-day cap on that tier stops being enough. Where it is the better choice, that is said rather than buried. For the wider field, wireagent and fourteen LinkedIn outreach tools are compared here.
The short answer
- Choose Linked Helper if you want volume, drip sequences, a mature tool with years behind it, or the lowest price. It starts at 8.25 US dollars a month on an annual plan and it has served a very large number of people since 2016. If 20 advanced actions a day is a ceiling you are content to keep, it is the best value in this category and nothing here beats it.
- Choose wireagent if you want unlimited usage on every plan rather than only on the top tier, agents that research and write the outreach for you, and an approval queue through which nothing is sent until you say so. Against Linked Helper Pro, the tier that lifts its cap, the two cost roughly the same.
Linked Helper has two prices, and only one of them is famous
The $8.25 is real, and it is genuinely cheaper than wireagent. It is also the Standard tier, which is capped at 20 advanced actions a day. The tier that lifts the cap is Pro, at $24.75 a month on the same annual billing, or $45 billed monthly against Standard’s $15.
So the honest comparison depends entirely on which reader you are, and both prices below are billed yearly so that it is a fair one. Against Standard, Linked Helper wins on money and it is not close: $8.25 against £18.75. Against Pro, which is the tier anyone running actual outreach ends up on, it is £18.75 against $24.75 and the question stops being about money at all. Both are unlimited at that price, so it becomes the question this page is really about: what the same money buys. Paying monthly instead puts wireagent at £25 and Pro at $45, and the shape of that answer does not change.

Where Linked Helper is simply better
There is no version of this page where these are not true.
- It is cheaper on Standard, by a wide margin, and if 20 advanced actions a day is enough for you then it is the better buy and price decides it. Stop reading.
- It is finished. Years of edge cases have already been found and fixed. wireagent has not launched.
- It runs on macOS and Ubuntu. wireagent is Windows today, and that is a hard blocker rather than a preference.
- It does more. Sequences, an export path for nearly everything, and a cloud option if you need sending while your machine is off.
- You can use it today. wireagent is still finishing, and a waiting list is not a product you can try this afternoon.
Where wireagent is different
Most of these read as missing features on a comparison table. They are the reason the product exists.
- Unlimited on every plan, not only the top one. Linked Helper sells unlimited daily actions on its Pro plan, for $24.75, and caps Standard at 20. wireagent is unlimited from £25, up to LinkedIn’s own limit, and on an established account we recommend about 150 actions a day so you know where the safe pace sits.
- There is one price, not two. There is no capped tier to be upsold out of, because there is nothing to upsell you to. What you pay in month one is what you pay in month twelve.
- There is no select-all. Not on any list, anywhere. It is asserted in the test suite, so it cannot return quietly in a later release.
- Group threads cannot be replied to. Posting to a group is one-to-many by accident, which is the exact shape of the thing that gets accounts actioned.
- Nothing sends for you. Linked Helper meters AI at 250 credits a month on Standard and 500 on Pro. wireagent's drafting is optional, and when it is on every draft lands in a queue for you to approve, edit or reject before anything moves. There is no autonomous send at any tier and no way to buy one. The words you send are yours, which is the only version of this that survives the person on the other end replying.
- What the tiers sell is agent work. Every tier from £25 to £189 carries the same unlimited usage; what rises is how much research and writing the agents do for you. Linked Helper prices the daily ceiling itself, which is the disagreement this whole page is about.
- Nothing leaves your machine. True of both on the local build, and worth stating twice, because it is not true of the other thirteen tools in this category. Note that Linked Helper also sells a cloud version, where it stops being true of them.
Before you ask
Is Linked Helper safe?
It is one of the safer options, and for the same structural reason wireagent is: it runs on your own machine and your own connection rather than a shared vendor cloud. That architecture is the thing that matters most, and both have it.
So why would I pay more?
For the agents and the approval queue. Both tools are unlimited at the tier anyone running real outreach ends up on, and both run on your machine. What wireagent adds is the research and the writing done for you each morning, and a queue through which nothing is sent until you approve it. Worth being straight about the money, because it moved on 7 September 2026 and not in our favour: billed yearly on both sides it is 24.75 dollars against 18.75 pounds, so Linked Helper Pro is now the cheaper of the two by a clear margin rather than the same money. What the difference buys is the agent work, and if you do not want that, it is not worth paying for.
Which Linked Helper plan do I actually need?
Standard at 8.25 dollars is capped at 20 advanced actions a day, which is close to the pace most people should be sending at anyway, so for a single careful account it is genuinely enough. You need Pro at 24.75 dollars if you want drip sequences at volume, more than 20 advanced actions in a day, or the larger AI and data credit allowances. If you are choosing Pro for the unlimited actions, wireagent includes those from its first tier.
What about Linked Helper's cloud version?
It exists, at 16.50 dollars for Standard and 33 dollars for Pro on annual billing, and it is the right answer if you need sending to continue while your computer is off. It also gives up the property that makes the local version safe, which is that the traffic comes from your machine and your connection. If you are comparing on architecture rather than price, compare against the local build.
Can I use both?
Not on one LinkedIn account at the same time. Two tools driving one account is exactly the pattern that looks automated.
Still here?
Then you probably care about what the money buys more than the price. wireagent opens soon, and everyone on the waiting list keeps the founding price.
